It's simple. If you want to make more money with your online business, you need to increase your conversion rate. But first, you need to know what conversion is and how to increase it, right?
Conversion is the process that happens when your marketing efforts turn into optins or sales. And of course, the more optin and sales you generate, the more money you make!
So, how do you get people to give you their contact infor or buy your product? In other words...how do you increase your conversion?
If you are an affiliate marketing and are marketing someone eles's product or service, the fastest and easiest way to increase conversion is to stop selling the product that doesn't convert and choose a product that does sell better. Pretty simple, right? But, perhaps you are looking for other ways to increase your conversion for the product you are currently selling. If this is the case...keep reading...
A great way to increase your overall sales is to do a product review. Simply make a web page (doesn't need to be really fancy) where you HONESTLY review the product that you are selling. Now, the key word here is HONESTLY. Nothing is perfect, so make sure to mention some things that could be better about the product and HIGHLIGHT many more positive attitibutes of the item. This will instill trust with your potential customers and they will be more likely to buy from you. Oh, and remember, end your review on a really positive note and make sure you are very clear that you are recommending the product.
Here is an example:
“I highly recommend this product to those who wants to fill in the blank with benefits recieved.”
After your review is complete, have it drive through your affiliate link. This is an added benefit because you will be your own web page to market an affiliate product.
Another way to increase conversion on an affiliate product (or your own product) is to do a teleseminar with the person who created the product you are selling. On the call, interview the person and have them specifically talk about how the customer can benefit from it. Then, sell the product during the teleseminar. Make sure to offer bonuses related to the niche of the product to encourage a sale.
Next, instead of a web page review, you could deliever your review in an audio postcard! Make sure to have your affiliate link right under the audio button!
Perhaps your conversions are low because you are simply not selling what you list wants to buy. In this case (or to make sure this isn't the case), you can run an ASK campaign. This is a survey that you send to your list to find out what they are looking for and what they want to buy. By using this tool, you can find out exactly what your list's biggests questions are too! After you find this out, answer their questions in, let's say an email blast and make the next step of the email to buy your product (which of course, is a product that they indicated they wanted on the ASK Campaign).
There are many different way to increase your optin and sales conversions. The above ideas are ones that I use and work well for me. Some ideas will work better than others. Try as many as you can!
